ORIENTAL COCKROACH (BLATTA ORIENTALIS)

Typically found in warm environments, hence, usually found within heated buildings. However, they are tolerant to cooler conditions and can survive winter outdoors. The Oriental Cockroach is known to carry some pathogenic bacteria, although evidence of passing on to humans is scarce.

GERMAN COCKROACH (BLATTELLA GERMANICA)

Only found within heated buildings or in underground heating ducts. They are capable of climbing smooth surfaces and will be found close to food and water. The German cockroach is known to carry and spread various human disease organisms.
